- 2025: Sep 08 – Sep 14, 2025
HTW 2026 and future years will be held the week leading into Labor Day Weekend. Here are the planned dates for the next five years:
- 2026: Aug 31 – Sep 6, 2026
- 2027: Aug 30 – Sep 5, 2027
- 2028: Aug 28 – Sep 3, 2028
- 2029: Aug 27 – Sep 2, 2029
- 2030: Aug 26 – Sep 1, 2030
Why This Timing?
- No state or federal holidays during the week and it leads into a long weekend (Labor Day Weekend).
- No other Tech Weeks, major tech conferences (e.g. Dreamforce), or major tech focused conferences during the week.
- During the fall academic semester of Hawaii universities and before California system Autumn Quarter—enables university students to participate.
- August/September is down season for travel and tourism in Hawaii compared to the summer and winter—prices are lower for visitors while providing incentive for industry partners.
- Held in the last month of Q3 but not in the final weeks — avoids disrupting Q3 sales close for companies.
