Common Questions

If your question isn't answered here, reach out at aloha@hawaiitechweek.com

HTW is not a single-venue conference. It's a distributed week of 50+ events across 25+ venues in Honolulu — hosted by sponsors, founders, and community leaders. There's no expo hall or booth. Instead, sponsors host their own events, get brand placement across all HTW channels, and access to HTW's anchor events.

Anything that brings value to the community — panels, fireside chats, keynotes, demo days, workshops, mixers, product launches, and more. HTW provides planning support, website and newsletter placement, and social promotion to help you reach the full network.

Once you commit, we'll send a sponsor onboarding checklist with deadlines for logos, headshots, brand colors, and event details. Most assets are due 4–6 weeks before HTW so we have time to integrate them into the website, calendar, newsletters, and promo video.

Yes. While our Silver, Gold, and Presenting tiers cover the most common needs, we're open to discussing custom arrangements — especially for presenting-level sponsors. Reach out to aloha@hawaiitechweek.com to discuss.

Sponsorships are tied to a single brand to keep placement clean and trackable. If you'd like to co-sponsor with a partner, reach out at aloha@hawaiitechweek.com — we can usually accommodate it as a custom arrangement.

After you submit your sponsorship request, you'll receive an invoice via Mercury with options to pay by ACH, wire transfer, or credit card. Payment is due within 14 days. Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) is included as a line item on the invoice.

Hosting an event is encouraged but not required. All packages include brand placement, anchor event access, and content & media benefits regardless of whether you host your own event.

In the unlikely event the dates shift, your sponsorship moves with the week — all benefits, placements, and tickets carry over to the new dates. We'll communicate any changes early and directly.

3,000+ people across 50+ events. The audience spans founders, investors, engineers, executives, policymakers, educators, and students — from Hawaii's local ecosystem and tech hubs worldwide.
