Since September 2024, HTW has helped catalyze real movement across Hawaii's tech ecosystem.
HTW started as a way to bridge my friends building in Hawaii and San Francisco—showcasing the best of Hawaii's tech ecosystem while leveling us up with learnings from global leaders.
Within a year our network rapidly grew to 3,000+ people, including founders building unicorns, investors deploying hundreds of millions in capital, engineers solving humanity's critical challenges, and students discovering their path into tech. We've seen startups funded, careers launched, and lifelong friendships formed—all against the backdrop of Honolulu's leading venues and Hawaii's volcanic mountains and turquoise waters.
Our base remains rooted in Hawaii's tech community, and we welcome those around the world—from kamaʻaina abroad to anyone connected to our ecosystem—to join us each year for a week of connection, education, and inspiration.
